Get Over It For Good

Because I have been exactly where you are. You cannot pull someone out of a well if you've never been down there. If I'm going to climb Mount Everest, I want the person who has actually done it, not someone who read about it. That's why so many women come to me after therapy, after the books, after all of it, and still feel stuck. They don't need one more person explaining it from the outside.

I cried myself to sleep more nights than I can count. I've sat on my couch and bawled my fucking eyes out, wanting the earth to open up and swallow me whole so the pain would just stop. I remember the ridiculously long paragraphs I would send to the married guy. Begging. Explaining. Threatening, even though they were empty threats, because all I wanted was for him to choose me.

I was discarded. I was horrifically abused. I was the other woman. I had the whole sandcastle built in my head. I chased, I pined, and I had a Master's from Northwestern and still couldn't think my way out of it. I've been through what you're going through, and more.

I needed to see my patterns. I needed to see how much of what I was attracting came from feeling deeply unworthy and unlovable. I kept thinking I needed a whole trove of shit to prove why I was worth choosing. That's bullshit. It was other people's projections and programming, and I took it on and thought it was me.

I also needed someone to explain what the FUCK was going on in those fucked up situations and why it felt so intoxicating. Nobody could, and I had no one to help me make sense of it or process it. So I built all of it myself.

About 6 months of very intentional work for me. It depends on how much shit you're working through. I've had clients turn it all around in 3 months. And yes, there's light at the end of the tunnel. I've seen it in myself and in my clients. But you have to make the decision to choose yourself and do the damn thing. Stop hoping it will magically happen on its own. It won't. You'll be right back here in a year saying "fuck, I should've started sooner."

Because it's built on everything I did, and it's what I walk my clients through. Those are real messages from my clients. I'm not trying to convince you, I just feel so fucking good. The peace, the joy, the certainty I have now is next level, and I want that for you.

I wouldn't go within 100 feet of the men who used to have a hold on me. I can see exactly what I was getting from them, and I would never attract that now. But there was a reason I attracted it back then, and there's a reason you're stuck now. I can get you out the same way I got myself out.
